Full Bucket Music has released SequencAir, a freeware step sequencer with a built-in virtual analog synthesizer. The product is available as a standalone application and a VST plugin for digital audio workstations on PC and Mac.
SequencAir is a virtual step sequencer with per-step controls for note, octave, velocity, gate, step skipping, and mute parameters, along with two freely assignable MIDI CC parameter lanes. These two lanes can be used to control any pair of parameters in an external MIDI-compatible instrument or effect. The built-in synth follows the basic single-oscillator architecture with three waveform types (square, saw, noise), a resonant filter, a very simple envelope, velocity sensitivity, and portamento. Paired with an external delay effect, the synthesizer module can be used to create classic analog-style arpeggio sequences and basslines.
